About
Anchor House Financial Planning began as a small advice room in South Zulauf, serving neighbours who wanted pension and retirement guidance without a sales floor.
Origin
We started by helping teachers, nurses, and small-business owners in Wales untangle workplace pensions and mortgage-linked life cover. Demand for the same careful process grew beyond the county, so we added video consultations while keeping the office open for clients who prefer to sit across a table.
Our work remains advice-led: discovery, analysis, written recommendation. Product placement happens only when you instruct it after understanding the trade-offs.
People
Leads comprehensive planning reviews and defined-benefit research. Twenty years advising households through retirement transitions.
Focuses on pension consolidation and protection reviews for families with joint mortgages and young dependants.
Builds cash-flow illustrations and gathers scheme paperwork so recommendation meetings stay focused on choices, not chasing documents.
We charge advice fees you can see before work begins. Introductory calls are free. We will decline work that sits outside our competence — for example, specialist overseas tax structuring — and refer you where we can.
