What we collect

When you send an enquiry we collect your name, email address, optional preferred call date, selected advice area, and the content of your message. Server logs may record IP address and basic browser information for security. If you accept analytics cookies, we may collect aggregated page-view statistics as described in our cookies notice.

Purposes and lawful bases

• Responding to enquiries and arranging consultations — legitimate interests and, where applicable, steps prior to a contract.
• Operating and securing the website — legitimate interests.
• Understanding how the site is used (analytics, only if accepted) — consent.

Retention

Enquiry messages are kept for up to twenty-four months unless you become a client, in which case records follow our client-file retention schedule (typically at least five years after the end of an advice relationship to meet regulatory expectations). Analytics data, if any, is retained according to the analytics provider’s settings, usually fourteen months or less.

Sharing

We use hosting and email providers who process data on our instructions. We do not sell personal data. We may disclose information if required by law or a competent regulator.

International transfers

Our primary operations are in the United Kingdom. If a processor stores data outside the UK, we rely on an adequacy regulation or appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or standard contractual clauses with supplementary measures where required.
